8 BLUE ARROWS, 2020
Neonsystems and wood cm 107 x 172 x 13 (inch 42.13 x 67.72 x 5.12)
Albert Hien's "8 BLUE ARROWS" is a complex light installation exploring themes of direction and interconnection. Made entirely with neon systems in various shades of blue and aqua, the work presents itself as a crossed pattern of eight arrows. Four arrows are oriented horizontally, while four are oriented vertically. The neon tubes intersect at the centre in a luminous, abstract knot.
