This work by Marcello Scarselli is a tribute to the famous Fabrizio De André song and is constructed on a nine-square grid. Each section is filled with a background of alternating primary and secondary colors and features the silkscreened or printed portrait of a gorilla with chromatic variations. The use of the grid and image repetition reflects the influence of Pop Art, particularly Andy Warhol's style, but with a more expressive and less industrial palette
