The work is a hymn to travel and renewal, typical of Musante's poetic style, with the scene framed against a deep black background, studded with glittered stars and moons. The lower part is dominated by a stack of suitcases and trunks that symbolically enclose the "memories" mentioned in the title. Emerging from the luggage are objects dear to travel and creativity: books with the names of Calvino and Borges, paintbrushes, candles, and letters.
